Since 2006 from its base in Göteborg/Sweden International Improvisation Festival VARIA is celebrating and presenting the exclusive and innovative Art of Improvisation alongside creating room for exploratory meetings between dance, music, sound-art, light and video. Many well-known artists, performers and teachers etc. from various countries and from a wide range of fields and generations visited – performed, taught and gave presentations and lectures.
